Donations
Funds
Beth El Congregation has various funds that you can make a monetary donation to. Your donation helps provide programs and services for all our members, and the greater Phoenix Jewish community.
Grocery Card Program
Please support Beth El and pick yours up during the week. We have in stock $25 gift cards for AJ’s, Bashas, Food City and Fry’s. If you are an Albertson’s shopper, pick up a card you can attach to your key ring. You do not need to purchase an Albertson’s card, but every time you shop and swipe the card Beth El receives a percentage of your purchase.
Scroll of Generations
Beth El’s Planned Giving Committee is responsible for creating a solid financial base for future generations at Beth El. To this end, Beth El has become a member agency of the Jewish Community Foundation, making us eligible for the benefits of the Leave a Legacy program, which has been promoting future giving to charitable organizations of one’s choice.
Each member is encouraged to consider a future gift to Beth El. No current outlay of funds is required and only a commitment to make Beth El a beneficiary in one’s ultimate plans. This is a painless way of supporting the synagogue, which for many of us, has supported us throughout our lives, in sad times and simchas.
Families or individuals committing to a future gift will be listed on Beth El’s Scroll of Generations. Gifts can be designated to either Beth El’s account at the Jewish Community Foundation or directly to Beth El’s Endowment Fund. Options include: bequests, insurance policies with Beth El designated as the beneficiary, gifts of stock or property and a selection of trusts.
Questions can be directed to Deborah Lavinsky. Please call the synagogue office and someone will have Deborah get in touch with you.
