What a party!  On Simchat Torah circa 5779, Beth El rocked the house of prayer with an unforgettable experience.  Led by Rabbi Katzen and Cantor Angress, we danced WITH the Torah and we danced AROUND the Torah.  There were flag-waving children on top of shoulders and tightly held Torahs embraced with love.  We toasted L’Chaims and belted out the traditional songs and just could not stop dancing–the ruach was too strong.  We ended with the last-and-first aliyahs of the Torah-reading cycle under Rabbi Katzen’s tallis and then delighted in ice-cream dessert. Beth El came alive that night.  Here is to many, many more!  –Aaron
