    Kadima Butterfly Plate Painting

    1st-5th grade students are invited to participate in painting Ceramic butterfly plates to commemorate Yom Hashoah. The afternoon will include lunch, all art materials, instruction, and a brief discussion on Yom Hashoah, the symbolism of butterflys, and acceptance of all people regardless of their differences.     Join us for a virtual tour of Auschwitz courtesy of the East Valley Jewish Community Center. Following the 90 minute tour, a panel discussion with a survivor, child of a survivor, and grandchild of a survivor. This event is free to attend and open to the community.

The "Kid in the Corner" organization will give a presentation on the importance of erasing the stigma around mental health, and discuss what resources are availible. There is no cost for this event.
