Cantor Bollt’s musical journey began in childhood and flourished through her involvement in various synagogue choirs and Jewish musical ensembles. Her experience as a Cantorial Soloist, Klezmer vocalist, and teacher has equipped her with a diverse skill set. Ordained in May 2024 from the Academy for
Jewish Religion – California, she holds a Master’s degree in Jewish Sacred Music.
Cantor Bollt’s deep roots in Arizona began in Tucson, where she spent many formative years. Her involvement in Congregation Or Chadash ignited her passion for congregational life and inspired her pursuit of a career in Jewish music. Having served as Cantorial Soloist at the Institute for Judaic Services and Studies at SaddleBrooke and as Cantorial Intern and Erev Cantor at Kol Ami Synagogue, Cantor Bollt brings a wealth of experience and a strong connection to the Southern Arizona Jewish community.
Cantor Bollt is particularly drawn to working with children and has a proven ability to make Jewish learning engaging and fun. Her master’s thesis focused on alternative methods for training b’nei mitzvah students who struggle with traditional approaches. This research has informed her teaching style and allows her to provide tailored support for students with diverse learning needs.
With a heart full of music and a passion for Jewish education, Cantor Bollt is excited to embark on this new chapter as Cantor at Beth El Congregation. She looks forward to sharing her love of Jewish tradition and inspiring the community through song and prayer.
