Social Action Committee
Beth El's Social Action Committee meets on the 1st Wednesday of each month at 6:00 pm. In addition to organizing events for Beth El congregants and youth to participate in tikkun olam, we also have ongoing mitzvah projects that are year round.
Donation bins for AZ Kosher Food Pantry and NourishPHX can be found in Beth El's lobby. Additionally, we have purchased bulk ingredients for Welcome Center Kitchen Crew to use in our kitchen where they make kosher meals for asylum seekers. We partner with Arizona Friends of Homeless by providing them space to store donated items for the people they serve. Our other community partners include One Hundred Angels and Kivel Campus of Care.
